Capastat Side Effects Report #5624251-3
Capastat side effect was reported by a Physician from SOUTH AFRICA on Jan 31, 2008. Female patient was diagnosed with tuberculosis , hiv infection  and was treated with Capastat. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, renal failure. Capastat dosage: 1000 MG, DAILY (1/D). During the same period patient was treated with TERIZIDONE, PYRAZINAMIDE, EFAVIRENZ, LAMIVUDINE, ELTROXIN, PYRIDOXINE, DAPSONE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Female patient, weighting 73.99 lb, was diagnosed with tuberculosis , hiv infection , hypothyroidism and was treated with Capastat. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, hypokalaemia, renal failure. Capastat dosage: 1000 MG, DAILY (1/D). During the same period patient was treated with CAPASTAT SULPHATE, TERIZIDONE, PYRAZINAMIDE, EFAVIRENZ, LAMIVUDINE, ELTROXIN, PYRIDOXINE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
