Candesartan side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Oct 28, 2005. Male patient, weighting 156.5 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension, diabetes mellitus, coronary artery disease , cardiac failure chronic and was treated with Candesartan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, cardiac failure, myelodysplastic syndrome, pulmonary hypertension , tachyarrhythmia. Candesartan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CANDESARTAN CILEXETIL, METOPROLOL, AMARYL, PLAVIX, ASPIRIN, ENALAPRIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with CANDESARTAN CILEXETIL, METOPROLOL, AMARYL, PLAVIX, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID, ENALAPRIL, AQUAPHOR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 81 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with cardiac failure chronic, diabetes mellitus, myocardial infarction, gastritis, atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Candesartan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, cardiac failure. Candesartan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BASEN, LANIRAPID, LASIX, ALDACTONE, ASPIRIN, ITOROL, SELBEX, WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 03/29/2008.
