Candesartan Side Effects Report #4815751-4
Candesartan side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Oct 24, 2005. Female patient, 57 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension, proteinuria, prophylaxis and was treated with Candesartan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, bradycardia, disorientation, fatigue, hyperkalaemia, muscular weakness, peripheral coldness. Candesartan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CANDESARTAN CILEXETIL, SPIRONOLACTONE, METOPROLOL TARTRATE, AMLODIPINE BESYLATE, DOXAZOSIN MESYLATE, DOXAZOSIN MESYLATE. Patient recovered.

Candesartan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CANDESARTAN CILEXETIL, SPIRONOLACTONE, METOPROLOL TARTRATE, AMLODIPINE BESYLATE, DOXAZOSIN MESYLATE, DOXAZOSIN MESYLATE. Patient recovered.

Candesartan side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on July 18, 2008. Male patient, 81 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with cardiac failure chronic, diabetes mellitus, myocardial infarction, gastritis, atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Candesartan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, cardiac failure. Candesartan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BASEN, LANIRAPID, LASIX, ALDACTONE, ASPIRIN, ITOROL, SELBEX, WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 03/29/2008.
