Camptosar Side Effects Report #4781629-8
Camptosar side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Sept 14, 2005. Male patient, 70 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with rectal cancer and was treated with Camptosar. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, haemoglobin decreased, hypovolaemia, lung disorder, platelet count decreased, pyrexia, septic shock, white blood cell count decreased. Camptosar dosage: 180 MG/M2, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE, CALCIUM CARBONATE. Patient died on 07/18/2005.

Female patient was diagnosed with rectal cancer, ventricular tachycardia, nausea , hypertension and was treated with Camptosar. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, leukopenia, neutropenia, pyrexia, ventricular tachycardia. Camptosar dosage: UNIT DOSE: 150 MG/M2; TDD: 255 MG. During the same period patient was treated with CALCIUM LEVOFOLINATE, ANCARON, SEROTONE, DEXAMETHASONE PHOSPHATE, DEXAMETHASONE PHOSPHATE, ARTIST, VALSARTAN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: inflammation, lung disorder, lymph node tuberculosis, lymphangiosis carcinomatosa, pyrexia, respiratory distress. Camptosar dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CETUXIMAB, FENTANYL, DILTIAZEM HYDROCHLORIDE, SERENOA REPENS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Camptosar dosage: 40 MG, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with TEGAFUR, OXYCODONE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
