Calcium Side Effects Report #5446089-2
Calcium side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from CROATIA (local name: Hrvatska) on Aug 21, 2007. Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with colon cancer and was treated with Calcium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aphthous stomatitis, diarrhoea, pancytopenia, petechiae, sepsis , skin hyperpigmentation. Calcium dosage: 30 MG/ 5 DAYS INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with FLUOROURACIL. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: multi-organ failure, pneumonia , sepsis , toxic epidermal necrolysis, wound infection staphylococcal. Calcium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ETIDRONINE ACID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Calcium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FLUOROURACIL, OXALIPLATIN, FAMOTIDINE, DORMICUM, SANDOSTATIN, PROTON PUMP INHIBITOR, MORPHINE. Patient died on 12/18/2005.

Patient died on 07/06/2007.
