Calcitriol side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 11, 2008. Male patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with vitamin supplementation and was treated with Calcitriol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, abdominal pain What is  abdominal pain, anorexia, chills, diarrhoea, infection What is  infection, muscle spasms, pancreatitis, vomiting. Calcitriol dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient was diagnosed with anaemia, refractory anaemia with an excess of blasts and was treated with Calcitriol. During the same period patient was treated with ISOTRETINOIN, EPOETIN BETA. Patient died.
