Calcitriol side effect was reported by a Health Professional from AUSTRALIA on Jan 22, 2003. Male patient, weighting 116.8 lb, was diagnosed with osteoporosis prophylaxis, heart transplant  and was treated with Calcitriol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, pyrexia, tachycardia. Calcitriol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CALTRATE, PREDNISONE, CYCLOSPORINE, AZATHIOPRINE, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, KETOCONAZOLE, CAPTOPRIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/04/1995.

Male patient, weighting 116.8 lb, was diagnosed with osteoporosis prophylaxis and was treated with Calcitriol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, asthenia, atrial flutter, bradycardia, dizziness , headache , lethargy, presyncope, pyrexia. Calcitriol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CALTRATE, PREDNISONE, CYCLOSPORINE, AZATHIOPRINE, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, KETOCONAZOLE, CAPTOPRIL, ZANTAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/04/1995.
