Calcitonin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Apr 20, 2006. Female patient, 46 years of age, was diagnosed with osteoporosis What is  osteoporosis and was treated with Calcitonin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, brain stem syndrome, depressed level of consciousness, fall What is  fall, flushing, heart rate increased, nausea What is  nausea, periodic limb movement disorder, restlessness. Calcitonin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CALCIUM CARBONATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
