Calcitonin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Feb 14, 2005. Female patient, 79 years of age, was diagnosed with gastrointestinal disorder, constipation What is  constipation, pain What is  pain and was treated with Calcitonin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, hypotension, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, renal failure acute, urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection. Calcitonin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PANTOPRAZOLE, SENOKOT, MORPHINE, DOCUSATE, PHOSPHATE, LACTULOSE, ALBUTEROL, TYLENOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
