Male patient, 54 years of age, weighting 280.0 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Calan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: intervertebral disc protrusion, narcolepsy, neck injury, road traffic accident, rotator cuff syndrome, sleep apnoea syndrome. Calan dosage: 480 MG (240 MG, 2 IN 1 D). During the same period patient was treated with CARDURA, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, ZOLOFT, ALTACE, PROVIGIL, RITALIN, DRAVOCET, ETODOLAC. Patient recovered.

Female patient, weighting 150.0 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Calan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: echocardiogram abnormal, joint swelling, oedema peripheral, pulmonary hypertension What is  pulmonary hypertension, refusal of treatment by patient, sleep apnoea syndrome. Calan dosage: 250 MG (250 MG, DAILY), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ZESTRIL, PREMPRO ESTROGENS CONJUGATED. Patient recovered.
