Bupivacaine Side Effects Report #4691039-X
Bupivacaine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on June 09, 2005. Male patient, 42 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with spinal anaesthesia, hypertension and was treated with Bupivacaine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaesthetic complication, bradycardia, laryngospasm, stridor. Bupivacaine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LIDOCAINE, BISOPROLOL FUMARATE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, heart rate decreased, hypotension, oxygen saturation decreased. Bupivacaine dosage: unknown. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, electrocardiogram qt prolonged, hypotension, nodal arrhythmia, ventricular arrhythmia, ventricular dysfunction. Bupivacaine dosage: DOSE: 22 MG TOTAL DAILY DOSE: 22 MG. During the same period patient was treated with DESFLURANE, EPINEPHRINE, FENTANYL, GLYCINE, NITROUS OXIDE W, OXYGEN, RINGER. Patient recovered.
