Bufferin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Apr 10, 2008. Male patient, 40 years of age, was diagnosed with polycythaemia and was treated with Bufferin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood potassium increased, compartment syndrome, erythema, muscle haemorrhage, muscle necrosis, muscle swelling, pain in extremity. Bufferin dosage: 81 MG, QD, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with KELNAC PLAUNOTOL). Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood glucose increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, c-reactive protein increased, catheterisation cardiac, chest x-ray abnormal, cough, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased. Bufferin dosage: 162 MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with PANALDINE, OMEPRAL, EUGLUCON, DIOVAN, RENIVACE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
