Budesonide side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on May 06, 2008. Female patient, child 8 years of age, was diagnosed with asthma  and was treated with Budesonide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: adrenal insufficiency, growth retardation, overdose. Budesonide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FLUTICASONE PROPRIONATE. Patient recovered.

Budesonide side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Aug 29, 2006. Female patient, child 6 years of age, was diagnosed with asthma  and was treated with Budesonide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, adrenocortical insufficiency acute, blood cortisol decreased, fatigue, growth retardation, nausea . Budesonide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FLUTICASONE PROPIONATE, SALBUTAMOL, SALMETEROL XINAFOATE, THEOPHYLLINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
