Brivanib Side Effects Report #5929664-8
Brivanib side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from AUSTRALIA on Oct 14, 2008. Male patient, 51 years of age, weighting 246.9 lb, was diagnosed with rectosigmoid cancer, hyperuricaemia, inflammation, thrombosis prophylaxis, acne , nausea  and was treated with Brivanib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acne , blood potassium increased, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, haemoglobin decreased, leukocytoclastic vasculitis, malignant neoplasm progression, oedema peripheral. Brivanib dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CETUXIMAB, ALLOPURINOL, CORTISONE ACETATE, VITAMIN K, CLEXANE, MINOCYCLINE, SOMAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/04/2008.

Male patient, 66 years of age, weighting 152.1 lb, was diagnosed with colorectal cancer metastatic, dyspepsia, deep vein thrombosis , pain , prophylaxis and was treated with Brivanib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: fatigue, malignant neoplasm progression, psychotic disorder . Brivanib dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CETUXIMAB, MOTILIUM, FRAGMIN, VOLTAREN, NEXIUM, DILAUDID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/18/2009.
