Briplatin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on May 19, 2008. Male patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with rectal cancer and was treated with Briplatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatic encephalopathy, hepatitis b , neutrophil count decreased, white blood cell count decreased. Briplatin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CAMPTO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 10/28/2005.
