Male patient, 77 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with pleural mesothelioma malignant, febrile neutropenia, bone marrow failure and was treated with Briplatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, bone marrow failure, febrile neutropenia, interstitial lung disease, liver disorder, malignant neoplasm progression, multi-organ failure. Briplatin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ALIMTA, PAZUCROSS, MEROPEN, PANVITAN, CYANOCOBALAMIN, AMARYL, BASEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/13/2008.
