Briplatin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Apr 22, 2008. Male patient, 70 years of age, weighting 141.1 lb, was diagnosed with pleural mesothelioma malignant and was treated with Briplatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, blood albumin decreased, blood bilirubin increased, blood urea increased, gastric ulcer haemorrhage, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, platelet count decreased, rash . Briplatin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ALIMTA, PANVITAN, DECADRON, FOLIC ACID, CYANOCOBALAMIN, KYTRIL, DAONIL, URSO. Patient recovered.
