Briplatin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Sept 13, 2007. Female patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with pleural mesothelioma malignant and was treated with Briplatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amyloidosis, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood albumin decreased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, decreased appetite, diarrhoea, febrile neutropenia, gastric ulcer. Briplatin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ALIMTA, PANVITAN, MECOBALAMIN, FERROMIA, URSO, FLOPROPIONE, TANNALBIN, ALFAROL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
