Brethine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 18, 2005. Female patient, 18 years of age, was diagnosed with tocolysis and was treated with Brethine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , dyspnoea, hypotension, nausea , obstetric procedure complication. Brethine dosage: 0.25 MG ONCE SC. During the same period patient was treated with PRENATAL VITAMINS, MACROBID. Patient recovered.

Female patient, weighting 160.0 lb, was diagnosed with premature labour and was treated with Brethine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , caesarean section, cardiac failure congestive, cardiac valve disease, dyspnoea, off label use, panic attack, swelling. Brethine dosage: 2.5 MG EVERY 6 HOURS PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
