Botulinum Side Effects Report #5761988-X
Botulinum side effect was reported by a Physician from PORTUGAL on May 20, 2008. Female patient was diagnosed with off label use, salivary hypersecretion and was treated with Botulinum. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: back pain , eye irritation, facial paresis, mastication disorder, off label use, paraesthesia, pneumonia aspiration, respiratory tract infection, saliva altered. Botulinum dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BOTULINUM TOXIN TYPE B, AMITRIPTYLINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 80 years of age, was diagnosed with muscle spasticity and was treated with Botulinum. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cellulitis , cutaneous vasculitis, mycobacterium chelonei infection, off label use, pneumonia aspiration, respiratory failure. Botulinum dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, METHOTREXATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
