Bosentan side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 07, 2005. Female patient, 20 years of age, weighting 112.4 lb, was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension , malaise, pyrexia and was treated with Bosentan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, aplasia pure red cell, coagulopathy, diarrhoea, dyspnoea, dyspnoea exertional, epistaxis, hepatic cirrhosis, hepatic neoplasm. Bosentan dosage: 62.5 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with ACETAMINOPHEN. Patient died on 10/07/2005.

Bosentan side effect was reported by a Health Professional from NETHERLANDS on Dec 22, 2005. Female patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension, atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Bosentan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, arrhythmia , blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, disease progression, dyspnoea exertional, fatigue, hyponatraemia, hypothyroidism. Bosentan dosage: 125 MG, BID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with DICLOFENAC, ACENOCOUMAROL, KETANSERIN, MOVICOLON, PANTOPRAZOLE, PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
