Bosentan Side Effects Report #5778149-0
Bosentan side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on June 03, 2008. Female patient, 57 years of age, weighting 110.0 lb, was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension , cardiac valve prosthesis user and was treated with Bosentan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dizziness , fatigue, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, illogical thinking, muscle spasms, palpitations. Bosentan dosage: 62.5 MG, BID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with COUMADIN, NEXIUM, TRIAZOLAM, FERROUS SULPHATE, REQUIP, SPIRONOLACTONE, LEVOTHYROXINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Bosentan dosage: 62.5 MG, BID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with COUMADIN, ASPIRIN, NEXIUM, TRIAZOLAM, FERROUS SULPHATE, REQUIP, SPIRONOLACTONE, LEVOTHYROXINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dizziness , haematocrit increased, haemoglobin increased, nausea , palpitations, platelet count decreased, red blood cell count increased, ventricular extrasystoles. Bosentan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SPIRONOLACTONE, ALBUTEROL SULPHATE HFA, BECLOMETHASONE DIPROPIONATE, ALLOPURINOL, DIGOXIN, FERROUS SULPHATE, NIFEDIPINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Bosentan side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 28, 2009. Female patient, 47 years of age, was diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension and was treated with Bosentan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, autoimmune hepatitis, cardiovascular disorder, chest discomfort, chest pain , chronic hepatic failure, condition aggravated, dizziness , dysphagia. Bosentan dosage: 125 MG, BID; 62.5 MG, BID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with BOSENTAN VS UNBLINED, SILDENAFIL, DIGOXIN, ALDACTONE, NEXIUM, LASIX, ULTRAM, PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/15/2008.
