Bosentan Side Effects Report #4693817-X
Bosentan side effect was reported by a Physician from on June 08, 2005. Female patient, 39 years of age, weighting 127.9 lb, was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension  and was treated with Bosentan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, body temperature decreased, chest pain , dermatitis, disease progression, malaise. Bosentan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, DIPYRIDAMOLE, ENALAPRIL, FAMOTIDINE, JUVELA NICOTINATE, NIFEDIPINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, international normalised ratio decreased, menorrhagia, platelet count decreased, prothrombin time prolonged, pyrexia, red blood cell count decreased. Bosentan dosage: 62.5 MG, QD, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISOLONE, ENALAPRIL MALEATE, ROCALTROL, JUVELA NICOTINATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Bosentan side effect was reported by a Health Professional from NETHERLANDS on Dec 22, 2005. Female patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension, atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Bosentan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, arrhythmia , blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, disease progression, dyspnoea exertional, fatigue, hyponatraemia, hypothyroidism. Bosentan dosage: 125 MG, BID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with DICLOFENAC, ACENOCOUMAROL, KETANSERIN, MOVICOLON, PANTOPRAZOLE, PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
