Female patient, weighting 134.5 lb, was diagnosed with waldenstrom's macroglobulinaemia and was treated with Bortezomib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, bacterial infection , chills, diarrhoea, disseminated intravascular coagulation, herpes zoster, hypotension, international normalised ratio increased, pyrexia. Bortezomib dosage: 2.6 MG IV. During the same period patient was treated with DEXAMETHASONE, RITUXIMAB. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
