Bortezomib side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Apr 10, 2007. Male patient, 38 years of age, was diagnosed with pharyngeal cancer recurrent and was treated with Bortezomib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion. Bortezomib dosage: 2.56MG,WEEKLY,IV. During the same period patient was treated with DOCETAXEL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Bortezomib side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 08, 2007. Male patient, weighting 280.9 lb, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma What is  multiple myeloma and was treated with Bortezomib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, convulsion, delirium, dyspnoea, encephalopathy, hypoxia, international normalised ratio increased, mental status changes, performance status decreased. Bortezomib dosage: 1.5 MG/M2 DAYS 1, 4, 8 AND 11 IV. During the same period patient was treated with DOXORUBICIN, KEPPRA, ACYCLOVIR, ALLOPURINOL, DEXAMETHASONE, DOLASETRON, MOXIFLOXACIN. Patient died on 12/19/2006.
