Bortezomib side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on July 23, 2008. Male patient, child 6 years of age, weighting 51.15 lb, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma
and was treated with Bortezomib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bacillus infection, catheter related infection, neutrophilia. Bortezomib dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with IRINOTECAN, CEFPODOXIME PROXETIL, HEPARIN, IMODIUM, OXYCODON, POTASSIUM IODIDE, PRILOSEC, ZOFRAN. Patient was hospitalized. and was treated with Bortezomib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bacillus infection, blood culture positive, catheter related infection, pyrexia. Female patient, 50 years of age, weighting 200.0 lb, was diagnosed with mantle cell lymphoma and was treated with Bortezomib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood culture positive, body temperature decreased, catheter related infection, compression fracture, depressed level of consciousness, hypotension, mental status changes, oxygen saturation decreased, rib fracture. Bortezomib dosage: 2.4MG D1+4 IV. During the same period patient was treated with BORTEZOMIB IV, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, RITUXAN, DOXORUBICIN, DEXAMETHASONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
