Bortezomib side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 10, 2008. Male patient, weighting 257.9 lb, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma What is  multiple myeloma and was treated with Bortezomib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, dyspnoea, haematuria, heart rate increased, lethargy, multi-organ failure, oxygen saturation decreased, pancytopenia, rhabdomyolysis. Bortezomib dosage: 2.4 MG TWICE PER WEEK IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with THALIDOMIDE. Patient died on 09/03/2008.

Bortezomib side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Oct 31, 2008. Female patient, child 8 years of age, weighting 70.77 lb, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Bortezomib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain What is  abdominal pain, aeromona infection, atelectasis, blood culture positive, blood pressure decreased, body temperature increased, chest pain What is  chest pain, chills, collapse of lung. Bortezomib dosage: 1.3MG/M2/DAY DAYS 1, 4, 8, 11 IV. During the same period patient was treated with DAPSONE, DEXAMETHASONE, DOCUSATE, FLUCONAZOLE, MIRALAX, ONDANSETRON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
