Bivalirudin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Mar 27, 2009. Female patient, 75 years of age, weighting 160.9 lb, was diagnosed with peripheral vascular disorder and was treated with Bivalirudin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, circulatory collapse, haemorrhage, leg amputation, peripheral coldness, skin discolouration. Bivalirudin dosage: 250 MG TIMES 2 IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with TPA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
