Biperiden side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Jan 04, 2007. Male patient, 54 years of age, was diagnosed with alcoholic psychosis, insomnia, irritability, mental disorder and was treated with Biperiden. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose increased, hyponatraemia, ileus paralytic, locked-in syndrome, loss of consciousness, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, pallanaesthesia. Biperiden dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BIPERIDEN HYDROCHLORIDE, BIPERIDEN HYDROCHLORIDE, BIPERIDEN HYDROCHLORIDE, ESTAZOLAM, CARBAMAZEPINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
