Bexarotene side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Feb 24, 2005. Female patient, 56 years of age, weighting 148.0 lb, was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer and was treated with Bexarotene. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea, malignant neoplasm progression, pericardial effusion, pleural effusion, portal vein thrombosis. Bexarotene dosage: 300MG DAILY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LIPITOR, SYNTHROID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
