Bexarotene Side Effects Report #5363204-X
Bexarotene side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on June 18, 2007. Male patient, weighting 156.5 lb, was diagnosed with mycosis fungoides and was treated with Bexarotene. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, chromaturia, decreased appetite, diarrhoea, jaundice
, liver function test abnormal, nausea
, retching, stomach discomfort. Bexarotene dosage: 300MG DAILY (PO). During the same period patient was treated with ATORVASTATIN, MIRTAZAPINE, LEVOTHYROXINE, OMEPRAZOLE, TRIAMCINOLONE OINTMENT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 04/02/2007.
