Bethanechol side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Jan 20, 2005. Male patient, 84 years of age, weighting 202.8 lb, was diagnosed with urinary retention and was treated with Bethanechol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dysuria, pollakiuria, urinary incontinence . Bethanechol dosage: 75MG PO TID. Patient recovered.

Bethanechol side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 23, 2006. Female patient, 80 years of age, was treated with Bethanechol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal discomfort, blood pressure systolic increased, dysuria, hyperhidrosis, hypotension, loss of consciousness, nausea , pallor, pruritus. Bethanechol dosage: 25 MG Q 6. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
