Female patient, 89 years of age, weighting 110.0 lb, was diagnosed with heart rate irregular, blood cholesterol increased, hypertension and was treated with Betapace. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, depressed level of consciousness, hepatic enzyme increased, hepatic failure, hepatitis

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood chloride decreased, blood creatinine increased, blood glucose increased, blood magnesium increased, blood sodium decreased, blood urea increased. Betapace dosage: 40 MG, 2X/DAY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with NESIRITIDE, LISINOPRIL, DEMADEX, ZAROXOLYN, ALLOPURINOL, PRAVACHOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
