Female patient, 79 years of age, was diagnosed with keratitis and was treated with Betamethasone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: corneal opacity, corneal perforation, corneal thinning, disease recurrence, hyphaema, keratitis bacterial, keratitis herpetic, ulcerative keratitis. Betamethasone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISOLONE, DEXAMETHASONE, PHOSPHATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
