Betamethasone side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Dec 24, 2008. Female patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with polymyalgia rheumatica What is  polymyalgia rheumatica and was treated with Betamethasone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chills, extradural abscess, intervertebral discitis, spinal cord compression. Betamethasone dosage: 3 MG;QD. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
