Benztropine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on July 18, 2008. Male patient, 54 years of age, weighting 220.0 lb, was diagnosed with restless legs syndrome and was treated with Benztropine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, confusional state, disturbance in attention, dyskinesia, incoherent, incorrect dose administered, insomnia. Benztropine dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

Benztropine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 17, 2007. Male patient, 47 years of age, weighting 175.0 lb, was diagnosed with anxiety  and was treated with Benztropine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: central nervous system lesion, confusional state, delirium, ill-defined disorder, incorrect dose administered, infection , mental status changes, metabolic disorder , mucosal dryness. Benztropine dosage: 1 MG TID PO. During the same period patient was treated with BENZTROPINE MESYLATE, CLONAZEPAM, CYANOCLBALAMIN, IBUPROFEN, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, OMEPRAZOLE, PAROXETINE, TRAZODONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
