Bentyl side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 20, 2008. Female patient, 46 years of age, weighting 195.0 lb, was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome  and was treated with Bentyl. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , cerebrovascular accident, chest pain , confusional state, dizziness , eye pain, heart rate increased, memory impairment, mental disorder. Bentyl dosage: 1 - 10MG 3 TIMES A DAY, 4 MONTHS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 25 years of age, weighting 240.0 lb, was diagnosed with crohn's disease  and was treated with Bentyl. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, chest pain , dyspnoea, mood swings, nightmare, paranoia, withdrawal syndrome. Bentyl dosage: 1 20MG TABLET 3X A DAY PO. During the same period patient was treated with ASACOL. Patient recovered.
