Benefiber side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Sept 30, 2008. Female patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with constipation  and was treated with Benefiber. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspepsia, dyspnoea, food allergy , oral discomfort, pharyngeal oedema, rash pruritic, swollen tongue. Benefiber dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SYNTHROID. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 49 years of age, weighting 250.0 lb, was diagnosed with constipation  and was treated with Benefiber. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: burning sensation, eye swelling, hypersensitivity, lip swelling, nausea , pharyngeal oedema. Benefiber dosage: 3330 MG, QD, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with SYNTHROID, NORFLOX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
