Benefiber side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 19, 2008. Male patient, 86 years of age, was diagnosed with nutritional support  and was treated with Benefiber. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arrhythmia , blood magnesium decreased, blood potassium decreased, dehydration, diarrhoea, dizziness , hypotension, incorrect dose administered, pollakiuria. Benefiber dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BENEFIBER W, ENAPRIL, ARICEPT, SUBPAR, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 71 years of age, was diagnosed with constipation  and was treated with Benefiber. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: clavicle fracture, cold sweat, dizziness , feeling abnormal, retching, upper limb fracture. Benefiber dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MODURETIC, VENOCUR TRIPLEX. Patient recovered.
