Bendamustine side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 21, 2009. Male patient, 55 years of age, weighting 211.6 lb, was diagnosed with lymphoma
and was treated with Bendamustine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anaemia, duodenal ulcer, erosive duodenitis, gastritis erosive, hypotension, loss of consciousness, neutrophil count decreased, syncope. Bendamustine dosage: 194 MG DAYS 1 AND 2 INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with VELCADE, RITUXIMAB, CYMBALTA, LYRICA, MORPHINE, ZOLPIDEM, BACTRIM DS. Patient was hospitalized. Female patient, 52 years of age, weighting 165.0 lb, was diagnosed with b-cell lymphoma, non-hodgkin's lymphoma and was treated with Bendamustine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, abdominal pain upper, cough, fatigue, lymphadenopathy, myalgia, neutrophil count decreased, nocardiosis, organising pneumonia. Bendamustine dosage: 70 MG/M2 DAY 2, EVERY 35 DAYS X 5 CYCLES INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with RITUXAN, VELCADE, METFORMIN, SIMVASTATIN, LASIX, NEXIUM, LEVAQUIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
