Bendamustine Side Effects Report #5993028-1
Bendamustine side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Dec 03, 2008. Female patient, 47 years of age, weighting 187.4 lb, was diagnosed with non-hodgkin's lymphoma and was treated with Bendamustine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atelectasis, blood albumin decreased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood magnesium decreased, dehydration, diarrhoea, dyspnoea, hypercalcaemia, nausea . Bendamustine dosage: 50 MG/M2 INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with VELCADE, RITUXIMAB, RHINOCORT, ALLEGRA, ALBUTEROL, FLOVENT, MAXZIDE, COUMADIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood albumin decreased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood magnesium decreased, confusional state, dehydration, diarrhoea, dyspnoea, epistaxis, hepatomegaly. Bendamustine dosage: 50 MG/M2 INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with VELCADE, RITUXIMAB, RHINOCORT, ALLEGRA, ALBUTEROL, FLOVENT, MAXZIDE, COUMADIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 63 years of age, weighting 175.9 lb, was diagnosed with lymphoma  and was treated with Bendamustine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, hypotension, oedema peripheral, tumour lysis syndrome. Bendamustine dosage: 180 MG QD INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with BORTEZOMIB, RITUXIMAB, ZOFRAN, COMPAZINE, TYLENOL, MEPRAZOL, SIMVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
