Bendamustine side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Feb 06, 2009. Male patient, 67 years of age, was diagnosed with non-hodgkin's lymphoma and was treated with Bendamustine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia haemolytic autoimmune, cough, dizziness , heart rate increased, immune system disorder, malaise, oropharyngeal pain, pyrexia, viral infection . Bendamustine dosage: 120 MG/KG FIRST THRU FOURTH CYCLE QD INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ACYCLOVIR, FLUCONAZOLE, SULFAMETHOXAZOLE AND TRIMETHOPRIM, MECOBALAMIN, ADENOSINE, REBAMIPIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 52 years of age, weighting 165.0 lb, was diagnosed with b-cell lymphoma, non-hodgkin's lymphoma and was treated with Bendamustine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, abdominal pain upper, biopsy bone marrow abnormal, cough, fatigue, lymphadenopathy, malaise, myalgia, neutrophil count decreased. Bendamustine dosage: 70 MG/M2 DAY 2, EVERY 35 DAYS X 5 CYCLES INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with RITUXAN, VELCADE, METFORMIN, SIMVASTATIN, LASIX, NEXIUM, LEVAQUIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Bendamustine dosage: 70 MG/M2 DAY 2, EVERY 35 DAYS X 5 CYCLES INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with RITUXAN, VELCADE, METFORMIN, SIMVASTATIN, LASIX, NEXIUM, LEVAQUIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
