Bendamustine Side Effects Report #6071764-9
Bendamustine side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Nov 12, 2008. Male patient, 67 years of age, was diagnosed with non-hodgkin's lymphoma and was treated with Bendamustine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia haemolytic autoimmune, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood bilirubin increased, blood bilirubin unconjugated increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood urea increased, brain natriuretic peptide increased, c-reactive protein increased, cough. Bendamustine dosage: 120 MG/KG FIRST THRU FOURTH CYCLE QD INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ACYCLOVIR, FLUCONAZOLE, SULFAMETHOXAZOLE AND TRIMETHOPRIM, MECOBALAMIN, ADENOSINE, REBAMIPIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Bendamustine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Dec 17, 2008. Female patient, 62 years of age, weighting 175.5 lb, was diagnosed with b-cell lymphoma and was treated with Bendamustine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alopecia, anaemia, aortic arteriosclerosis, arteriosclerosis coronary artery, ascites, bacterial sepsis, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, blood glucose increased. Bendamustine dosage: 90 MG/M2 DAYS 1 + 4 INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with BORTEZOMIB, RITUXAN, ZAROXOLYN, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, MYLANTA, FLONASE, METOCLOPRAMIDE, LORTAB. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 11/10/2008.
