Bendamustine Side Effects Report #5756661-8
Bendamustine side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on May 15, 2008. Male patient, 68 years of age, weighting 187.0 lb, was diagnosed with non-hodgkin's lymphoma and was treated with Bendamustine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, azotaemia, chills, dehydration, fatigue, herpes simplex , hydronephrosis, pancytopenia, pleural effusion. Bendamustine dosage: 100 MG D1, D2 Q 35 DAYS INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with VELCADE, RITUXIMAB, DIFLUCAN, ACYCLOVIR, LASIX, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, METAMUCIL, LEVAQUIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 62 years of age, weighting 175.5 lb, was diagnosed with b-cell lymphoma and was treated with Bendamustine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alopecia, anaemia, aortic arteriosclerosis, arteriosclerosis coronary artery, ascites, bacterial sepsis, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, blood glucose increased. Bendamustine dosage: 90 MG/M2 DAYS 1 + 4 INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with BORTEZOMIB, RITUXAN, ZAROXOLYN, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, MYLANTA, FLONASE, METOCLOPRAMIDE, LORTAB. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 11/10/2008.
