Benazepril side effect was reported by a Physician from FINLAND on Sept 19, 2005. Female patient, 63 years of age, weighting 194.0 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension, diabetes mellitus, urinary tract infection  and was treated with Benazepril. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anuria, blood creatinine increased, hydronephrosis, laparotomy, renal failure acute, retroperitoneal fibrosis, retroperitoneal infection, ureteral stent insertion, ureteric obstruction. Benazepril dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BENAZEPRIL AND HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, DIFORMIN RETARD, AMARYL, TRIMOPAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with IBUPROFEN, ALPRAZOLAM, ASPIRIN, ATENOLOL, BACLOFEN, CALCIUM, FLUVASTATIN, GEMFIBROZIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, hyperkalaemia, renal failure acute. Benazepril dosage: 5 MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with SPIRONOLACTONE, FUROSEMIDE, KCL SUPPLEMENT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
