Baycip side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from CHILE on Jan 17, 2006. Male patient, 69 years of age, weighting 143.3 lb, was diagnosed with pyelonephritis and was treated with Baycip. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, depressed level of consciousness, disorientation, psychomotor hyperactivity, pyrexia. Baycip dosage: 800 MG, TOTAL DAILY, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with URICONT, ATENOLOL, ENALAPRIL, ALLOPURINOL, DICLOFENAC, LACTULOSE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
