Basiliximab side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on July 12, 2007. Male patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with renal transplant and was treated with Basiliximab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, kidney transplant rejection, lung infection, nocardiosis, renal impairment, renal tubular disorder. Basiliximab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOSPORINE, SULFAMETHOXAZOLE W, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, METHYLPREDNISOLONE. Patient recovered.

Basiliximab dosage: 20 MG, UNK. During the same period patient was treated with PROGRAF, CELLCEPT, METHYLPREDNISOLONE. Patient recovered.

Basiliximab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISOLONE, TACROLIMUS, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, GUSPERIMUS HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
