Basiliximab side effect was reported by a Health Professional from EGYPT on July 20, 2007. Male patient, 36 years of age, was diagnosed with renal transplant and was treated with Basiliximab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, diabetes mellitus, hepatic enzyme increased, kidney transplant rejection, nephropathy toxic, renal impairment, renal vessel disorder. Basiliximab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AZATHIOPRINE, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, CYCLOSPORINE. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 54 years of age, was diagnosed with liver transplant What is  liver transplant and was treated with Basiliximab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: biopsy liver abnormal, blood bilirubin increased, hepatic congestion, hepatic enzyme increased, hepatic haemorrhage, hepatic necrosis, hepatotoxicity, liver transplant rejection. Basiliximab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOSPORINE, TACROLIMUS, METHYLPREDNISOLONE. Patient recovered.
