Basiliximab side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 10, 2008. Male patient, 46 years of age, was diagnosed with heart transplant
and was treated with Basiliximab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, bronchopulmonary aspergillosis, chest pain
, debridement, heart transplant rejection, pyrexia, renal failure acute, rhabdomyolysis, wound infection. Basiliximab dosage: 20 MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with HEARTMATE, TRIMETHOPRIM SULPHATE, TACROLIMUS, PREDNISOLONE, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL. Patient was hospitalized.
