Basiliximab side effect was reported by a Health Professional from TAIWAN, PROVINCE OF CHINA on Sept 17, 2008. Female patient, 53 years of age, was diagnosed with renal transplant, kidney transplant rejection and was treated with Basiliximab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bladder cancer , bladder neoplasm surgery, diabetes mellitus, kidney transplant rejection, nephroureterectomy, ureteric cancer. Basiliximab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOSPORINE, SIROLIMUS, PREDNISONE, METHYLPREDNISOLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Basiliximab side effect was reported by a Health Professional from EGYPT on July 20, 2007. Male patient, 36 years of age, was diagnosed with renal transplant and was treated with Basiliximab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, diabetes mellitus, hepatic enzyme increased, kidney transplant rejection, nephropathy toxic, renal impairment, renal vessel disorder. Basiliximab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AZATHIOPRINE, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, CYCLOSPORINE. Patient recovered.
